Yong Peng is known as the "Little Fuzhou" of Malaysia because it has a large population of Fuzhou people, and Fuzhou cuisine is one of the most popular cuisines in Malaysia.

 

Kedai Membuat Kuih-Muih Eng Hin 永興福州餅麵廠 is one of the oldest and most famous Fuzhou pastry, making traditional cakes, biscuits, and noodles, all the biscuits and noodles are made right here in the shop, the entire process from making the dough to baking in the oven to packing for sale can be seen in the shop.

Nowadays, machines help prepare and cut the dough while the final touches of shaping the dough are still done by hand.
