The Door to a Bright Future

India

"Involve Me, and I Learn. She Believed She Could, so She Did."

These photos were taken at Sambhali Trust, an NGO that provides education and social skills to underprivileged women and children in Rajasthan.

Most of the children and women at the centers come from low castes and often have challenging backgrounds. They are eager to learn and work hard to acquire knowledge. Many women at Sambhali are bright and naturally intelligent.

Through these centers, women can reclaim their dignity and self-worth, build confidence, and work toward financial independence. For instance, by learning how to sew, Surjo Devi can begin earning money, gradually achieving financial independence, and supporting her family.

While a sewing machine may seem like a simple piece of equipment, it opens up a new world for these women, enabling them to pursue their dreams and change their lives for a brighter future.
